Temasek Polytechnic (TP) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical behaviour in the conduct of its activities, and is resolute in adhering to applicable laws, regulations, policies and good corporate governance practices. As part of this commitment, TP has established procedures to report any concerns about unethical behaviour, violations of laws or regulations, fraudulent activities, research misconduct and other improprieties, or any other wrongful practices within the institution.
The reporting channels provide a confidential and secure mechanism for employees, students, members of the public, and other stakeholders to file a report without fear of retaliation or victimisation. All reports should be made in good faith and will be treated in utmost confidence to the extent feasible and permissible under the law. If a report is sent to the institution, TP will promptly investigate the allegations in a fair and impartial manner. Any form of retaliation against a whistle-blower by an employee will not be condoned and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
However, TP does not condone allegations made frivolously, maliciously or for personal gain. Disciplinary action will be taken against the employee or student making such allegations. Non-TP staff/students who made such allegations may be reported to the police.
